Through yumaYOGA, I aim to create a holistic space for teachings and therapy rooted in yogic traditions.

All in-person classes and guidance take place in Berlin.

My name is Julia, here to offer you meditation and pranayama guidance such as hatha yoga practice.

My yogic journey began in my final high-school year, now accompanying me over 20 years in active asana practise of hatha yoga. From 2019 onwards I explored the infinite space of shunya meditation and deepened my pranayama practice through various techniques from the kundalini yoga tradition. I finalized my training as a Sat Nam Rasayan® Practitioner in 2020 and was certified to teach Hatha and Vinyasa Yoga RYT200® in 2025.  I am currently a student of yoga therapy, looking forward to offer therapeutic practices for stressed-linked conditions and cardiovascular diseases based on yoga principles.

Pranayama refers to yogic breathing techniques that unite and direct the flow of prana, understood as a subtle vital essence, through intentional breath patterns in the body. Applied as a natural and powerful tool, pranayama helps create balance in the nervous system and enhances body awareness. It is a key tool for achieving therapeutic goals in yoga therapy, for release of inner rigidity, as well as preparing the body for meditation and the physical practice of asana.
